Have an awesome weekend, friends, and be sure to share your thoughts on this week’s cup of tea.

Best Find: BeeSweet Lemonade

Oh, boy, I can’t stop gushing about this adorable 11-year-old entrepreneur and self-proclaimed “bee ambassador” who recently signed an $11 million contract with Whole Foods. When founder, Mikaila Ulmer, was just four years old, she was stung by a bee and her life changed forever. Her fascination with bees and their role in our ecosystem inspired her to help local honeybees. She uses her great grandmother’s recipe to produce a delicious lemonade that Whole Foods stores, restaurants, food trailers, and natural food delivery companies now stock and sell. Mikaila also donates a percentage of her profits to local and international organizations that work to save the honeybees, and shares her knowledge of honeybees at schools and associations in and around Austin. Thanks for being our most awesome Friday find, Mikaila!

Honorable Mention: tWitch and Allison’s Dance Challenge

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with Ellen Degeneres, and vow to one day meet her. Until that day comes, I’ll settle for watching her on television and online. On her YouTube channel, Ellen has a new, original web series where phenomenal dancers, tWitch and Allison, search for the next talented dancer. What sets this series apart from other shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars? It’s for kids! That’s right, tWitch and Allison (and of course Ellen) are searching for the world’s most brilliant kid dancers who will then compete for the number one prize: to dance on Ellen’s show in front of millions of viewers. They’ve only aired a handful of episodes, but what I’ve gathered so far is that these kids are ridiculously impressive and inspiring. I don’t envy the tough decision tWitch, Allison, and Ellen have to select a winner, but I will certainly keep watching. To catch up on this week’s episodes, visit ellentube.com/videos.
