Happy Sunday, friends! Instead of the usual Friday Finding for this week, I’m spotlighting and thanking mothers: biological moms, adopted moms, play moms, working moms, single moms, living moms, moms who’ve passed away, moms who are separated from their children through death or distance, teacher moms, church moms, sisters, cousins, and friends. Today, and quite frankly everyday, we are celebrating the life and legacy of the women who have supported you, protected you, guided you, disciplined you, taught you, empowered you, kissed you, hugged you, loved you through anything and everything. Sometimes we’re hard to love, but they love us anyway. Sometimes we don’t listen, but they advise us anyway. Sometimes we don’t make the best decisions, but they stand by us anyway. Sometimes we don’t show our appreciation, but they do things anyway. (Cute pics of me and my mom inside!)

Mom’s are selfless, powerful, strong, beautiful role models who go through a lot to make sure we get here and stay here. So, whoever she is and wherever she is, thank a woman in your life, tell her you love her, tell her you need her, tell her you wouldn’t be who you are and where you are without her because the only regret in life is never saying the things you want to say when you have the chance to say them. Did you say it? Did she hear you? Do your words match your actions? Don’t put off on tomorrow what you can do today.

Thank her. Thank you, mom. Grab a box of Kleenex, and check out how P&G and some Olympic athletes are thanking their moms!
