Happy Wellness Wednesday, friends! We are just six short days away from Spring Break, but there’s just one little thing standing in our way: finals. That’s right! It’s finally finals week, which probably means lots of coffee, studying, and sleepless nights. So often we decide to pull all night study sessions instead of getting a restful night’s sleep because we need to cram it all in, but what if I told you that limited sleep negatively impacts your learning and performance? Sleep deprivation only further increases your stress levels and decreases your memory, focus, safety, and overall mood, which makes it more difficult to learn and perform at an optimal level.
Happy Wellness Wednesday, friends! This week we’re talking all things finals, and today is no different. You’ll also want to drink plenty of water and consume healthy snacks. At 123 calories per ball, today’s treat is a perfect snack and breakfast option packed with 3g of protein, 2g of dietary fiber, and 7g of healthy fat to keep you energized throughout the day!
Happy Tunesday, friends! Finals week is officially here, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to get to winter break, but before we get ahead of ourselves, there’s more studying and essay writing to do. So, to help you make it through those late night sessions, calm you down, and stay focused and productive, take a listen to these study-approved songs, all recommended by my students. Plan it out: use a website that will generate a playlist for you, or use a pre-made study playlist of music or ambient sound from Spotfiy, Apple, Pandora, or YouTube. What songs do you listen to while working? Comment below! Without further ado and in no particular order, here are their suggestions:
Happy Monday, friends! For many of us, this is the last week before we enjoy a much-needed and well-deserved winter break, but there’s just one more hurdle to master, one more thing standing in the way of endless sleep and guilt-free Netflix marathons, one more thing keeping you from freedom: finals. They say it’s always darkest before the dawn, and here we are in finals week and it’s pitch black (metaphorically speaking, of course)! So, how will you survive? Check out my suggestions to help you power through and master your finals relatively unscathed. Continue reading
