Happy Motivational Monday, friends! Do you ever have moments where your expectations are so high and anxiety is through the roof that you can hardly function? Moments when the need to succeed in everything you do is more damaging and destructive than productive and invigorating? I know too often work, school, and life, in general, can feel overwhelming, so try to take a deep breath and just do your very best. Yes, it’s probably easier said than done, but trust me when I say that words and actions have the power to change your life. If you can look in the mirror and say “I gave it my all,” then you can rest easy at night.
It’s so simple to lose sight of our wins because we allow the losses to overshadow everything. The losses feel so massive and overpowering. During these moments when you start to doubt yourself, your worth, your intellect, your ability, your power, take a jar and fill it with “feel good moments” and accomplishments to look at to remind yourself of goodness when you’re feeling down. What are some things you do to keep perspective? Comment below!
YES I can totally relate to this! It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the things that suck and forget what great things you have. In my case, whenever my head fills with doubt on myself (and that happens A LOT), I mentally and literally shake it off my mind and try concentrating on the good things. And when nothing else works, I take a pause from everything and just try to reflect on everything I’ve done and gone through. 🙂
